Becoming a Notary was no easy task. It was a career change for me. I had to go back to school and do a master’s degree as well as raise my family at the same time.
I’ve now been in business for 10 years and I love it. I have a wonderful staff at Carter Notary. I couldn’t do this alone! As legal professionals, we have a very long tradition of acting in British Columbia and as a result, we’ve sort of evolved in a special way.
Although I operate out of Victoria, I was born and raised in a rural community in the interior of the Okanogan Valley. I still have a part of that small town girl in me that really connects with the traditions of being a Notary Public in British Columbia.
