What you need to know before seeing your Notary, when it comes to getting prepared for making your Will or your Power of Attorney, is that we have a process. We have a guide we provide for you to fill out. And gives you the chance to work through the questionnaire and include factual information.
Our guide helps you to work this through. Most of our clients love this because they often say they don’t know where to get started. Our guide helps you include information that the Notary is going to need and ask you about. But the guide allows you to do it all on your own time! And then when you’re ready, we ask that you give us a call and we’ll set up your first appointment at Carter Notary.
We have a system where you will have at least two appointments with us. At your first appointment, we’ll work through all of the information you included in your Will Questionnaire or your Power of Attorney Questionnaire. Our Notary will ask some clarifying information. Next will be the signing appointment. In between that time, we will prepare all documents and we will send them to you. Then you’ll come in to sign.
So, we have a good process that we start. If you’re still not sure and you have some questions even before you get started, you have the opportunity to do a Will consult. You can book your complimentary consult online. We would be happy to see you and walk through some of your questions or concerns after you book a consult online.
